Wild parties, beer bongs and thousands of rowdy revelers make for a pretty exciting event. But throw in some pirates and you'll see how Tampa residents really like to party.
Although the Super Bowl was tops on most people's minds this past week, Gasparilla wasn't far behind. Along Bayshore Boulevard, bleachers and barricades, which were set up before last weekend's children's parade, have remained for the Feb. 7 parade, which begins with a pirate invasion of the city and concludes with a street festival in downtown Tampa.
