Football fans in Pennsylvania and Arizona don't think of just football and visions of the Super Bowl trophy when they think of Tampa.
They also think of skin and alcohol - plenty of both.
One story on the Arizona Republic Web site touts the 43 strip clubs in the Tampa Bay area. That story has triggered a lot of reader feedback.
"Why do you think Tampa is in the rotation of Super Bowls? American men spend money on girls and football," one person wrote.
"They call it Trampa for a reason," another offered.
And one other: "Football and naked girls, what a country. Go Cardinals!!"
Naked women, or nearly naked women, are not the only thing Tampa has to offer, according to Web sites from both cities' newspapers. There's also drinking to be done, and the Arizona site has a rundown of the five best local mixed drinks to sample while in town.
There's the Thai basil mojito at Restaurant B.T., the cafe con leche martini at the Columbia, the Franklin Derby at Fly, the pear-tini at Blue Martini and the 1988 at Roy's.
Keeping with the drinking theme, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has a feature story online about the Yuengling brewery in Tampa. Yuengling is a big beer in Pittsburgh because the family-owned brewery is based in the northeastern Pennsylvania town of Pottsville.
Switching from beer to beaches, one site also tells fans about the best dog-friendly beaches in the area, naming Picnic Island, the Davis Islands Seaplane Basin and Honeymoon Island.
Who brings a dog to the big game, anyway?
