The National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures to drop below freezing again tonight.
Temperatures are expected to fall to between 28 and 31 degrees this morning and to 28 to 30 degrees tonight into Sunday morning.
County officials are advising residents to take precautions to protect cold-sensitive plants and bring pets indoors.
Residents using radiant electric space heaters are reminded to ensure flammable materials are moved away from the heating unit, a news release stated.
In response to the cold weather, these locations will be open to provide shelter for those in need:
•Holy Ground Homeless Shelter, 8835 Denton Ave., Hudson. Hot meals will be provided.
