Lightning to open Forum for public skating July 12

TAMPA - The Tampa Bay Lightning will host a free, public skate on Sunday, July 12, on the rink inside the St. Pete Times Forum.

The Forum will be open from 3 to 5 p.m., and concessions will be available.

Lightning mascot ThunderBug and the Lightning Girls will make appearances along with former players Dave Andreychuk and Brian Bradley.

There also will be drawings for Lightning memorabilia.

All skaters must bring their own skates; rentals will not be available. Skaters younger than 18 must have a parent sign a waiver once inside the arena.

Fans should enter through the XO VIP Club entrance, and parking will be available in the VIP west lot for $5.
