2 dead in Manatee County shooting

Two men are dead after a shooting Friday night in Manatee County.
Someone called 911 at 9:20 p.m. after hearing several gunshots and spotting the men lying unresponsive in the road, according to the Manatee sheriff's office. Deputies arrived to 1116 59th Ave. Dr. E. and found two men, estimated between 17 and 23 years old.
They have not been identified, reports said.
Emergency Medical Services pronounced one of the men dead at the scene and took the other to Manatee Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting is under investigation.
