Deputies investigate report of carjacking at Circle K

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible carjacking in New Port Richey.

A woman told investigators she was pulled out of her vehicle just after 4 a.m. Thursday while she was at the Circle K at Little Road and Fox Hollow Drive.

The attacker drove off and crashed the car a short time later along Hilltop Drive, according to the sheriff's office.

The attacker and the victim knew each other, a sheriff's office dispatcher said. They are being questioned by investigators.
