2 local residents win Florida lottery

It's a happy July 4 for two winners of a Florida Lottery drawing who bought tickets in the Tampa Bay area.
The two join five others in winning $1 million today in the Lottery's Firecracker Millionaire Raffle, which randomly selected 1,027 winning numbers worth between $500 and $1 million.
One of the local winners bought the winning raffle ticket at the Holiday Mobil at 1940 U.S. Highway 19 in Holiday (ticket number 281738 if you haven't checked yours yet); the other bought the raffle ticket (number 338794) at the Publix at 33343 U.S. 19 North in Palm Harbor, the Florida Lottery said.
Raffle tickets went on sale May 15 and sold out Friday afternoon.
Winners need to claim their prize within 180 days and must have their winning ticket in hand.
While only seven won $1 million each, 1,000 will win $500. Winning ticket numbers have been released for the million dollar prize, while the rest will be on www.flalottery.com by 3 p.m. today.
