13 injured after pickup hits HART bus

TAMPA - Thirteen people were injured after a pickup truck hit a HART bus this morning at 56th Street just south of Hillsborough Avenue.
All were treated for minor injuries following the 9:50 a.m. wreck, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Neil Jones, 66, of Brandon, was northbound on 56th when he ran a red light, the highway patrol said. His Dodge pickup struck a tire and the side of the bus, which was westbound at the driveway exit to Netpark, 1,000 feet south of Cone Road.
