TAMPA - Three teens were arrested late Sunday night after three armed robberies staged in parking lots of eateries across northwest Hillsborough County, deputies said.

The brazen heists occurred during a 40-minute span beginning at 10 p.m. outside the Kobe Japanese Steak House, 14401 N. Dale Mabry Highway.

A 16-year-old customer was in his car talking to friends when two robbers approached the vehicle. One pointed a pistol at the teen and demanded property. The victim's wallet, cell phone and iPod were taken, sheriff's deputies said. Witnesses got a partial license tag and a description of the getaway vehicle.

The second robbery was about 20 minutes later outside Applebee's at 15090 N. Dale Mabry Highway. A 20-year-old woman was in her car waiting for a friend to arrive so they could go in and eat. One suspect approached her car and asked for directions, then pulled a pistol and pointed it at her stomach, demanding her purse. She refused, and the suspect left in a vehicle that matched the description of the getaway vehicle in the first heist.

Less than 20 minutes later in the parking lot of the Chili's restaurant at 8402 Citrus Park Drive, a 20-year-old woman was in her car waiting for her to-go order when the suspects pulled up next to her. They asked for directions before one suspect got out and aimed a pistol at the woman's head, demanding money. She gave the robbers her purse and they drove away.

Within minutes of the Chili's robbery, deputies near Gunn Highway and Henderson Road spotted a Saturn Vue matching the description of the suspects' vehicle in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Three males were walking outside the store.

Deputies arrested: Errol Ronald Haines, 17, of 8412 Oak Tree Court, Apt. 201; Alexander Michael Jentsch, 18, of 13805 Magdalene Lake Cove; and Jason Michael Park, 18, of 10502 Hamner Ave.

They have been charged in the Chili's robbery.

Park and Jentsch were taken to Orient Road Jail; Haines was taken to the juvenile detention center.

Some of the stolen property was found in the Saturn, deputies said.
