98 bras worth $4,200 taken in Victoria's Secret theft in Manatee

Nearly 100 bras were stolen from a Victoria's Secret in Bradenton on Thursday afternoon.

Someone took 98 bras – worth about $4,200 combined – from the store at DeSoto Square mall, Manatee County deputies say. The theft occurred between 5 and 9 p.m., but no one was seen committing the offense.

A store manager declined to comment today, referring questions to the media relations department at Victoria Secret's parent company, Limited Brands.

"Limited Brands values its relationship with law enforcement and work aggressively with them to deter and identify criminals of theft. We continue to cooperate fully with authorities to prosecute these criminals," the parent company said in a statement.
