Management of Channelside parking garage contracted out

TAMPA - The Tampa Port Authority has awarded Ampco System Parking a three-year contract, with terms not to exceed $1.2 million in the first year, to operate and manage the Channelside Bay Plaza parking garage among the 3,000 parking spaces the port owns.
The port authority expects annual revenue to be between $5 million and $6 million.
Other parking areas are the Channelside surface lots, Terminal 3 and 6 lots, and valet parking services for Channelside cruise and retail operations.
Ampco System Parking is a subsidiary of New York-based ABM Industries Inc.
