CLEARWATER - Key roads in and around the city and its beaches will be closed Sunday morning as part of the annual Morton Plant Mease Triathlon.
An estimated 1,000 people are expected to participate in the fourth annual race through Clearwater and Belleair, leading to traffic delays. Police will redirect vehicles during the event.
These locations, streets and bridges will be affected between 7 and 10 a.m.:
Sand Key Park: Sand Key Bridge, South Gulfview Boulevard, Hamden Drive, Coronado Drive, Memorial Causeway Bridge and Gulf Boulevard.
Clearwater: Palm Avenue, Turner Street, Bay Avenue, Druid Road West, Druid Road South, Belleview Boulevard and Indian Rocks Road.
Belleair: West Bay Drive and Belleair Causeway Bridge.
