TALLAHASSEE - Former Florida Lt. Gov. Frank Brogan is among four finalists for the state's top higher-education post.
A search committee named the finalists Monday for chancellor of the Board of Governors, which oversees the state's public universities. The list was narrowed from 13 applicants.
Also making the short list were Roderick G.W. Chu, former chancellor with the Ohio Board of Regents; Florida State University communications professor Steven R. MacNamara; and Thomas J. Snyder, president of an Indiana community college.
Brogan currently is president of Florida Atlantic University.
The finalists will be interviewed Friday in Tampa.
