TAMPA - Thursday evening's public hearing on Hillsborough County's 2010 budget has been relocated to the All People's Life Center, 6105 E. Sligh Ave., Tampa, at 6 p.m. The meeting had originally been scheduled at the Fred B. Karl County Center in downtown Tampa.
If residents can't make it to the meeting, they can watch it live on Hillsborough Television (HTV) on Bright House channel 622 or Verizon and Comcast channel 22 or on the county's Web site: www.hillsboroughcounty.org/budgetmatters, through live video streaming.
Residents will also be able to submit questions or comments to hcbudget@hillsboroughcounty.org, or by phone: (813) 307-8337. All comments and questions will be relayed to commissioners during the meeting and some will be read out loud.
The county's budget is to be adopted Sept. 17. After Thursday, the next public hearing on the budget will be Sept. 8.
