SARASOTA - Firefighters had more to battle than just flames when they arrived at a Sarasota home this morning.
They also found a live electrical wire dangling across the front of the house at 950 Alameda Way.
The fire at the two-story house began at 5:30 a.m. and took more than two hours to get under control, Sarasota Fire Department spokeswoman Mary Boutieller said.
No one was home when the fire started and no injuries were reported, Boutieller said.
The blaze remains under investigation.
