3rd man charged with having sex with 12-year-old

A third man has been accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl, according to Clearwater Public Safety officials.

Ernesto Pano-Temoxtle, 24, has been charged with lewd and lascivious battery, which is filed whenever a defendant is said to have had consensual sex with a child of the victim's age, according to a release.

The investigation began when police found the girl, who was reported as a runaway, at a Clearwater apartment complex on Monday. The girl, whose name is not being released, was in the company of several men and reportedly was exchanging sex for money. She engaged in sexual acts with at least two of the men, according to the report.

Abel Calihua-Macuixtle, 30, and Victorino Panzo-Panzo, 27, were arrested Monday evening. Each is charged with one count of lewd or lascivious battery. A third man, Jorge Temoxtle-Calihua, 23, was charged with obstruction after he gave police a false name, officials said.
