JUPITER - A man who authorities say was found dead while swimming with his family in Jupiter had been celebrating his wedding just days before.
The Palm Beach Sheriff's office says 46-year-old Michael Manna of West Palm Beach went snorkeling at DuBois Park Thursday and was found by an off-duty nurse who was also swimming in the area. Manna was floating in the back of the park's lagoon, where authorities say lifeguards don't patrol.
The off-duty nurse began CPR and called for life guards. Manna was taken to a hospital where he died.
His wife, Danielle Dyer Manna, says the two married on July 11th and called it "the happiest day of our lives."
She's awaiting a finding from the medical examiner on whether he drowned or had some other medical problem.
