Razor wire to enhance Falkenburg's security

TAMPA - In the wake of a rape suspect's escape last year, multiple layers of razor wire are being added to the fence surrounding Falkenburg Road Jail.
"They're about halfway done right now," Col. Jim Previtera said last week.
After the escape of Raymond Marston, "We obviously identified some things we needed to fix, and so we're fixing them," he said. Marston was rearrested.
The total cost of the Maze Razor Ribbon is $292,453.77, jail officials say.
The razor wire fence is 41,400 linear feet long. Work should be completed within two weeks, Previtera said.
