Deputies: Bradenton man shot during home invasion

A 41-year-old man was shot in the upper thigh during a home invasion at his Bradenton home this morning, Manatee County deputies say.
Jorge Santaella was flown to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg for treatment.
According to Santaella's girlfriend, three people at the home's back porch rushed inside the home at gunpoint, deputies say. The suspects demanded money and taped together the girlfriend's hands. They also taped the hands of Santaella's 12-year-old daughter, who was asleep in another room.
The girlfriend told deputies that she heard a shot and found Santaella wounded.
Deputies are still seeking the suspects, who are in their early 20s.
