ST. PETERSBURG - Summer in the Bay area means thunderstorms and the Warped Tour, the punk and underground music festival that made a stop at Vinoy Park on Sunday.
Warped, one of the longest-running touring music festivals in America, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this summer.
About 10,000 concertgoers meandered from stage to stage under the blazing sun Sunday, also enjoying, or enduring, the sporadic downpours.
The bands they came to hear - acts such as Less Than Jake, Anti-Flag and Millionaires - may not be exactly mainstream; but, then again, neither are the fans. Check out those tattoos and mohawks.
