Coming home was no cure for the Rays. Playing at Tropicana Field for the first time in two weeks, Tampa Bay fell 11-4 to the first-place New York Yankees on Monday night. The defeat dropped the defending American League champions to 71/2 games behind the Yankees in the AL East race. That matches the largest deficit the Rays have faced this season.
