Fine posters of illegal signs

I commend code enforcement for removing the roadside signs ("Signs of Clutter," July 29). They are an eyesore and can be very distracting to motorists.
On State Road 60 I saw at least 20 signs, one after the other. A lot of these signs have the name and number of the person or company. They should be contacted and given a fine of at least $100 for illegal posting and advertising.
Just a thought for more revenue for the county. Every little bit helps, and if a fine is what it takes to keep Florida clean of these signs, then so be it.
