$60,000 in jewelry stolen from Bradenton teen's car

BRADENTON - About $60,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from the trunk of a car on Thursday afternoon, Manatee County sheriff's deputies said.
The heist occurred just after 3 p.m. at 5026 45th St. W., deputies said. Eighteen-year-old Avina Krishna had parked her car in the garage of the home. The jewelry was in the trunk, she told deputies.
Thursday, someone broke out the sliding glass door of the home and forced open the trunk of the car in the garage, stealing the jewelry.
No arrests have been made, but deputies say they do have a suspect.
