TAMPA - They picked the wrong time and place for a burglary.
Two teenagers broke into the football coach's office at Gaither High School and stole a number of items - all while unaware that deputies were watching their every move, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies saw a car pull into the parking lot at Gaither High School, 16200 N. Dale Mabry Highway, about 12:45 a.m. Thursday, sheriff's office spokeswoman Debbie Carter said.
Two male juveniles left the car and broke in to the office, she said.
As the teenagers left the office, deputies arrested them.
The suspects had items, including a small refrigerator, two car air pumps, a football, a coach's headset, some video games, a projector, video cameras and a fan, Carter said.
The teenagers were taken into custody.
