Pinellas Park motorcyclist killed in Sarasota County identified

The identity of the Pinellas Park motorcyclist killed in a crash early this morning has been released.
Christopher Burek Jr., 24, died this morning after his motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 75 in Sarasota County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Burek was traveling north in the highway's southbound lane and hit the right front of the tractor-trailer, which was traveling south, near mile marker 194 at 12:55 a.m., according to a highway patrol report.
The motorcycle caught fire as it broke in half, troopers said.
Paramedics rushed Burek to Venice Regional Hospital, where he died.
Troopers said the he was not wearing a helmet.
The truck driver, 44-year-old Nivaldo Farnias of Tampa, was not hurt.
