2 die in U.S. 19 crash in Hernando County

Two people died in a crash Monday night on U.S. 19 in Hernando County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Tracy Schroeder, 44, of Spring Hill, was driving the wrong way on U.S. 19, south of Sevelle Parkway, when her vehicle hit another head-on about 11 p.m., according to a highway patrol report.
The impact of the crash killed Schroder and the other driver, Jaimin Patel, 39, of Crystal River, the report said.
The highway patrol is investigating.
