Longoria leaves game with hamstring injury

ST. PETERSBURG - Tampa Bay third baseman Evan Longoria left Tuesday night's game against Kansas City because of tightness in his left hamstring.

In the seventh inning, Gabe Gross pinch hit for Longoria, who was the designated hitter because of a sore throwing arm.
