Manatee mom arrested after toddler found wandering

MANATEE COUNTY - A 28-year-old Manatee County woman faces charges of child neglect after her 2-year-old daughter was found wandering near an intersection around midnight Monday, according to a sheriff's report.
Deputies say Alanna Coviello and five others were intoxicated at their Manatee home when a witness found the child wandering alone near the intersection of 16th Street West and 57th Avenue West close to midnight.
Coviello's boyfriend later found the child, took her from the witness and returned to their home, the report said.
According to the report, no one was supervising the child when she exited the house, and she had been missing for some time before being found.
