Five deputies were involved in a shootout with a murder suspect. One deputy and his canine partner saved a woman who had overdosed. Five others dragged a woman to safety after her home burst into flames. All were honored Tuesday by Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee during the agency's quarterly awards ceremony at Falkenburg Road Jail. Those receiving honors, and applause from their peers, included Master Deputy Chris Grecco and his canine Bullit, for finding and rescuing a woman who overdosed on medication and was stranded in the woods on Feb. 21.
