ST. PETERSBURG - Pinellas County sheriff's deputies busted two grow houses and arrested three people Wednesday in St. Petersburg and Dunedin, thanks to a tip received a month ago.
Deputies on Wednesday morning first went to 1878 74th Ave. North in St. Petersburg, where they found marijuana growing in the garage.
They seized 49 plants, two pounds of harvested marijuana, and charged James N. Dillshaw, 60, with cultivation of marijuana.
Detectives then went to 800 Main St., Lot 393, Dunedin, and found two grow rooms that had 27 plants. The plants and 226 grams of marijuana were seized by police.
Police arrested Bruce Kleinknight, 50, and his wife, Katrina Kleinknight, 38, and charged them with cultivation of marijuana.
The arrests are part of a statewide marijuana grow house investigation called "Operation Eagle Claw."
