Daniel Gibson, Jesuit; P; Jr.; Tigers ace finished 9-2 with team-best 2.08 ERA, striking out 67 in 67 1/3 innings.

Thomas Dorminy, Alonso; P; Jr.; Huge for Ravens all year, finished 12-0 with a 1.04 ERA and 121 strikeouts in 74 1/3 innings.

Mychal Givens, Plant; P; Sr.; Panthers ace went 8-4 with 1.71 ERA, striking out 113 in 78 innings.

Michael Smith, Brandon; C; Sr.; Eagles slugger had program-record seven homers, hitting .474 with 32 RBIs.

Tyler Ding, Alonso; INF; Jr.; Hit .463 with eight doubles, four homers, 34 RBIs, 39 runs scored and 23 stolen bases for Ravens.

Greg Dupell, Jesuit; INF; Sr.; Led Tigers with .453 average, eight homers and county-best 43 RBIs.

Mike Danner, Gaither; INF; Jr.; Hit .373 with 11 doubles, seven homers, 22 RBIs and 31 runs scored for Cowboys.

Nick Lockwood, Jesuit; INF; Sr.; Tigers sparkplug hit .380 with nine doubles, five homers, 26 RBIs, 30 runs scored.

Drew Doty, Gaither; OF; Jr.; Record-setting season included .432 average, six triples, 41 runs scored, 32 RBIs and county-best 10 homers.

Jay Laurienzo, Hillsborough; OF; Sr.; Led Terriers with .483 average, seven doubles, five homers and 23 RBIs.

Joe Cartwright, Armwood; OF; Sr.; Hawks top run producer with 33 RBIs, hit .353 with eight doubles and four home runs.

Zack Powers, Armwood; UT; Jr.; Hit .457 with 10 doubles and six homers, 5-1 with 1.85 ERA on the mound for Hawks.

The Tribune's All-Hillsborough County baseball team was selected by staff writer Adam Adkins based on regular season and postseason performances. The various all-conference teams selected by the county's head coaches were strongly considered.

The athlete and coach of the year were honored at The Tribune's annual Parade of Athletes banquet on May 18.
