Police: Man shot dead, dumped out of car in Tampa

Tampa Police are looking for four men who shot a 54-year-old Tampa man then dumped him out of a car.

Walter G. Patey, 2816 N. 9th Street, was dumped out of a car on Elmore Avenue near E. Adalee Street shortly after 3:30 a.m., according to a police report. He died at the scene, said Lt. Brian Dugan

Police are looking for four men, possibly in a green, 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Homicide detectives are interviewing one witness.
