Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating an early morning robbery at the EZ Pawn shop in Brandon.
Three men wearing masks entered the business just after 8 a.m. and robbed two clerks who were at the store, according to sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway. A female clerk was held at knifepoint and a male clerk was punched as the men demanded that they open the pawn shop's safe.
The suspects took items from the store display cases, as well as cash from the safe, Callaway said. Neither clerk was seriously injured but were taken to Brandon regional Hospital to be checked out, Callaway said.
