PORT RICHEY - Pasco County Sheriff's Office investigators say Arron Derell Jackson, 19, used brass knuckles to batter two people at a home on Casey Drive in New Port Richey on May 30.
Investigators say a man who lived at the Casey Drive address was punched in the face with brass knuckles by Jackson, resulting in a fractured eye socket and cut head.
The man tried to get in his house but was followed inside by Jackson, who also used the brass knuckles to beat the man's son, a sheriff's report states. The victims' names and ages were unavailable. They said they knew Jackson.
Jackson told investigators he fought with the two but was struck first. He acknowledged entering the garage of their home "but could not give a reason why he was there," records state.
Charged with burglary with assault or battery and aggravated battery, Jackson was arrested about 9 a.m. Monday at his residence on Maplehurst Drive in Port Richey. He was being held in the Land O' Lakes Jail on Tuesday. Bail was set at $170,000.
