Fire destroys vacant Gibsonton home

TAMPA - Hillsborough County fire inspectors are looking into a fire late Saturday night that destroyed a vacant house in Gibsonton.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said the house had been the target of recent vandalism and the county sheriff's office had received several reports of vandalism at the house at 6911 Ohio Ave.
Firefighters were called to the house at 11:35 p.m. Saturday and the fire department estimates the value
of the house at $75,000.
After the fire, some weakened exterior walls had to be taken down, the fire department said.
