TAMPA - Tampa police are continuing to investigate Monday night's shooting on West Walnut Street that left two men seriously injured.
The shooting occurred about 9:30 p.m. after a group of men argued about neighborhood parking, police Lt. Jack Diaz said.
Two men on a house porch at 2326 W. Walnut St. called over a neighbor they had argued with about parking, police said. The neighbor brought two people with him, and the group argued, police said.
One of the men on the porch took out a gun, police said.
One of the three men, Christopher O'Donnell, 24, took out a pistol and fired several shots at the men on the porch, police said.
Pedro Luna, 22, was shot in the chest, and Eric Garcia, 26, was shot in the head, police said. They were taken to St. Joseph's Hospital. Luna is in stable condition and Garcia is in critical condition, nursing officials said this morning.
The other men involved in the incident were identified as Leandro Martinez, 25, and Jermaine Cann, 30.
None of the men involved are listed on the Hillsborough County Jail Web site as having been arrested after the incident.
