Pinellas Park police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck one car, and then another, on 66th Street this morning.
The suspect vehicle – described only as a "possibly" green four-door sedan – struck the two cars at 2 a.m. north of the Park Boulevard intersection, said Capt. Sanfield Forseth.
The first car struck was a Ford and it was hit in the rear, Forseth said. It spun and struck a light pole before it slid into a parking lot at a Walgreen's, damaging trees, shrubbery and a sign before coming to rest up against the drug store itself, Forseth said.
Some or all of the four people inside the Ford were taken to Bayfront Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Forseth said.
The mystery vehicle then hit a Chevrolet, but the driver of that car managed to say in the roadway, Forseth said. The four people inside did not suffer serious injuries, he said.
