A Webster man man is in critical condition this afternoon after a two-vehicle accident near Richland.
Ryan Holewinski, 43, was driving south on U.S. 98 around 7 a.m. today when a pickup turning onto the highway from Janmar Road drove into his path, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
After the two vehicles collided, Holewinski's pickup flipped several times, ejecting him. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to a report.
The other pickup was driven by 20-year-old Diana Tumlinson, of Dade City. She was taken to Pasco Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
A third vehicle driven by Tammy Fields, 36, of Dade City had to swerve to avoid the crash and ended up in a ditch. Fields was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center for minor injuries, the FHP report states.
The crash blocked some lanes and delayed traffic in the area for more than an hour.
