TAMPA - Possession of marijuana misdemeanor charges against University of South Florida point guard Anthony Crater were dismissed Monday, said Dylan Snyder, Crater's attorney.
In January, Crater was arrested with teammate Mike Mercer, who also was charged with possession of marijuana. Because it was Mercer's second arrest in four months, he was dismissed from the team by Coach Stan Heath.
A transfer from Ohio State, Crater will be eligible to play for USF after the first semester is complete in December.
