TAMPA - Southwest Airlines will add four nonstop flights from Tampa International Airport on Nov. 1, including the airline's first service to Milwaukee and additional flights between Tampa and Las Vegas, Buffalo, N.Y., and Manchester, N.H., which serves the Boston area.
Southwest will inaugurate nonstop flights between TIA and Milwaukee with a $35 one-way fare – not including taxes and fees – for tickets purchased by Friday.
After Friday, the lowest one-way fares will range from $49 to $99.
"It's great Southwest chose Tampa to be among their first flights from Milwaukee," Tampa International director Louis Miller said.
The airline Monday announced schedules from the Wisconsin city to five other markets in addition to Tampa.
AirTran Airways and Midwest Airlines also offer nonstop service between Tampa and Milwaukee.
Southwest's new flights to Las Vegas, Buffalo and Manchester increase daily service with those cities from one to two flights.
Southwest was Tampa International's busiest airline in May with 31.9 percent of the market share, resulting in 231,914 departing passengers.
