Passenger in critical condition after wreck involving 15-year-old

A 15-year-old boy driving his father's Jeep Cherokee lost control of the SUV and crashed on Big Bend Road in Riverview, Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies say.

A teen passenger in the SUV was ejected and taken by medical helicopter to Tampa General Hospital.

The passenger is in critical condition, deputies say.

Deputies responded to the crash near Summerfield Boulevard about 3 p.m.
