The reality competition series "America's Next Top Model" will be holding auditions at the Ritz Theater on July 8.

The series, produced by Tyra Banks, will launch its 14th season on The CW in September.

The talent search in Tampa is co-sponsored by WTOG, Channel 44 (CW44) and WFLZ (93.3 FM).

In past seasons, the modeling competition has featured a few contestants from the Tampa area including Janet Mills, of Tampa, who was 22 when she made it through four episodes in 2007 before being voted off.

Mollie Sue Gondi and Gina Choe, both from Tampa, competed on the show in 2006. Choe was the fourth contestant voted off; Gondi was the fifth.

The auditions are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 27.

Talent scouts are looking for women who are 5-foot-7 or taller. There is no weight requirement and no modeling experience necessary.

A list of comprehensive rules, regulations and eligibility requirements are now available on www.cw44.com.

Applicants are advised to bring a driver's license and passport, or a social security card and birth certificate.

Each woman also must fill out an application prior to the event and must bring three photos at the
participant's discretion.

Applications are available at www.cw44.com
