Deputies: Manatee man sexually battered girl at day care

A 20-year-old man has been charged with the sexual battery of a girl in Manatee County.
The incidents started in 1999, when Andrew Rae IV was about 10 and the girl was about 5 and continued until 2004, Manatee County deputies say. It happened at a day care operated by Rae's mother.
"Subsequent investigation revealed that there may be two other victims, but they have not been located at this time," a Manatee County Sheriff's Office news release states. "Rae was arrested and transported to Juvenile Detention because of his age at the time of the incidents."
An investigation is ongoing.
