TAMPA - A 35-year-old Plant City man has been sentenced to life in federal prison for possessing with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of crack cocaine.
Antwan Boyd was also sentenced to a concurrent 10-year term for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
U.S. District Judge James Moody on Thursday also ordered Boyd to forfeit a 2006 Ford F150 pickup truck, more than $4,000 and a .357 revolver.
Authorities said Hillsborough County deputies found nearly 1,000 grams of crack cocaine and a loaded .357 revolver in Boyd's truck on April 1, 2008.
A jury convicted Boyd in September.
