NY Motorcyclist Dies In Sarasota Accident

A 70-year-old man died Saturday afternoon in Sarasota County when he failed to make a curve on his motorcycle, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Peter Marbury of East Moriches, N.Y., was heading east on Ratiki Boulevard about 2 p.m. on a 2004 Ducatti motorcycle and lost control on a curve, the FHP said.
The motorcycle fell on its side and slid into a shallow ditch before flipping and throwing Marbury, the FHP said.
Alcohol was not a factor in the accident and Marbury was wearing a helmet, the report said.
