LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Candyce Bingham scored a career-high 26 points to lead No. 8 Louisville to a 75-51 win over No. 15 Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Angel McCoughtry also scored 26 and grabbed seven rebounds for the Cardinals (26-3, 13-2 Big East).
The victory helped Louisville clinch the No. 2 seed in the Big East Tournament next week. The Panthers (21-6, 11-4) also will have a bye to the quarterfinals as they will finish in the top four seeds. Keisha Hines scored 12 and had 10 rebounds for Louisville.
Shavonte Zellous scored 15 and had six rebounds for the Panthers, and Sophronia Sallard scored 13. Sallard made one field goal, scoring two points, in the second half after making all five of her field goals in the first half.
The Cardinals never trailed and put the game away with a 15-point run in the second half, after the Panthers got within three. Pittsburgh couldn't overcome its 25 turnovers.
Louisville built a 20-9 lead in the first half before Pittsburgh rallied to cut the deficit to 24-20 on a 3-pointer by Zellous. Louisville extended the lead to six at the half.
The Panthers closed to 39-36 and were down 47-42 before Louisville took over by scoring the next 15 points - including six by Bingham.

HARTFORD, Conn. - Maya Moore scored 18 points and Tina Charles added 16 to help Connecticut (29-0, 15-0) rout Seton Hall (15-13, 3-12), clinching the Big East's regular-season title.
Moore added seven rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocked shots. She even sang the national anthem, in a harmonizing duet with junior forward Kaili McLaren.

NORMAN, Okla. - Courtney Paris had 25 points and 16 rebounds for her 122nd career double-double as Oklahoma (25-3, 13-1) clinched a share of the Big 12 title with a win over Oklahoma State (15-12, 4-10).

BOCA RATON - Former Holy Names standout Gianna Messina scored 30 points and added 12 rebounds as Tampa (22-5, 12-4) clinched a share of the Sunshine State Conference regular season title with a victory against Lynn (16-11, 7-9).
The championship is the Spartans' third, and first since 2003.

SAINT LEO - Nichole Tyler scored 15 points, and Marquita Fenn added 14 as Saint Leo (11-16) defeated Palm Beach Atlantic (11-17) in its final regular-season game.
