Tampa Police: Mom Abandonded Kids For Week To Smoke Crack

A 47-year-old Tampa woman abandoned two teenage children for about a week while she smoked crack, Tampa police say.

Officers arrested Sheila Thompson at 9:50 a.m. today.

She was charged with two counts of child neglect.

Thompson remains in Orient Road Jail today. Her bail is set at $4,000.
