VILLANOVA, Pa. - The University of South Florida women edged Villanova 52-50 Monday night in their regular-season finale to continue their push for an at-large NCAA Tournament berth.
Jazmine Sepulveda stole the ball with 10 seconds left and drove the length of the court for the game-winning layup.
USF's Shantia Grace tied the game at 50 with 40 seconds left when she made a layup, was fouled and hit the free throw.
Jessica Lawson led the Bulls (21-9, 8-8 Big East) with 15 points. Brittany Denson and Grace added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
USF will play its Big East Tournament opener on Saturday. The Bulls finish as the No. 8 seed and get a first-round bye. They'll play the winner of No. 9 Marquette and No. 16 Cincinnati.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Renee Montgomery scored 23 points as Connecticut beat Rutgers to finish off the fifth undefeated regular season in program history.
Tina Charles added 14 points for the Huskies (30-0, 16-0 Big East), who will next play in the quarterfinals of the Big East Tournament on Sunday. Kia Vaughn scored a season-high 24 points to lead the Scarlet Knights (18-11, 9-7).
NO. 14 PITT 79, ST. JOHN'S 60
PITTSBURGH - Shavonte Zellous scored 18 points in her final home game and Pittsburgh rebounded from a loss by defeating St. John's.
The Panthers (22-6, 12-4 Big East) opened up a 13-point lead at halftime and had few problems in tying the school record for regular-season wins.

TULSA, Okla. - Jill Young came off the bench to score a game-high 23 points, including a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 5:12 left.
South Dakota State (28-2, 17-1) clinched its second consecutive Summit League title and extended its winning streak to 14 games.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Lindsay Schrader had 14 points and 11 rebounds as Notre Dame beat short-handed West Virginia.
The Irish (21-7, 10-6 Big East) led comfortably for most of the game after using a 9-2 run midway through the first half to open a 25-15 lead. West Virginia (16-13, 5-11) played with just seven players because starting point guard Ashley Powell was ill and three players are sidelined for the season with injuries.
Nova Men Get Past Notre Dame
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Scottie Reynolds scored 23 points, Dante Cunningham added 18 and eight rebounds, and No. 11 Villanova turned the ball over a season-low five times to beat Notre Dame 77-60.
The Wildcats (24-6, 12-5 Big East), who had a season-high 20 turnovers in a loss to Georgetown on Saturday, took control with runs of 10-2 and 16-1 in the second half.
The Irish (16-13, 7-10) went nearly seven minutes without a field goal.
