Police in St. Petersburg fired shots in a Wal-Mart parking lot about 1:15 p.m. today, but no one was injured.
After the shots were fired in the parking lot at 3501 34th St. S., police chased a vehicle through Lakewood Estates and caught three suspects in the 700 block of 42nd Avenue S., the police department said.
The department said a police vehicle involved in the chase flipped at Country Club Way S. and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.
Police have not yet released further details on what led to the shots or the chase.
