Rescue officials say Jessica Silva, 19, knocked a wall off its foundation when she crashed a car into Carter's Florist at 2200 22nd Ave. S. today.

A teenager caused about $22,000 worth of damage to a St. Petersburg florist today after confusing the gas and brake pedals, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue said.
About 11:10 a.m., Jessica Silva, 19, crashed a car into Carter's Florist at 2200 22nd Ave. S., knocking a wall off its foundation by about 10 inches, firefighters said.
No one was injured, although Silva was shaken up by the crash, firefighters said. Fire crews stabilized the wall.
Silva told police she got confused between the gas pedal and the brake pedal.
No information on charges was immediately available.
